JULY 2008 MEETING |

| This meeting was a combined meeting with the air Medal Society and wives were invited along with some of the members of the Old and Bold. After introductions US Navy Captain Tim Hayes spoke about his experiences making carrier landings. Then Lee introduced some of the members who made short comments This was followed by the main speakers Fred Smith who made a presentation about Operation Bingo the air war over the Brenner Pass in Northern Italy, The final speaker was Joe Foster who described his experiences in flying over 1000 sorties rescuing wounded in the Viet Nam War | |
