| Enlisted in the service October 15th 1958 at Worcester Mass.. Assignments included Radio School at Keesler AFB. His initial Assignment was at Clark field with RAF at Chicksands, England, then to Goodfellow AFB San Angelo Texas Then to Viet Nam where he Flew 205 combat missions in Vietnam as instructor Radio operator front end crew was TEWS and back end crew as USAFSS. Most of his career was spent in various intelligence gathering units USAF Security Service which became Electronic Security Command and is now an operating agency called AIA. It was all classified work and very rewarding to him. He belongs to the Freedom through Vigilante association headquartered in San Antonio Texas When he retired he went to work for NSA and held various positions before winding up his career with the National Reconnaissance Office. His medals include DFC, AFMSM, DMSM , JSMSM ,Joint service commendation Medal, Af commendation medal, Air Medal 9OLC , Humanitarian Service medal Viet Nam Gallantry Cross (with palm). | ||

| when he retired from active duty he was hired by NSA and held various positions until September of 1997 when he went to the National Reconnaissance Office as a test director and he retired from them in 2001 | ||

| Richard Wall married Evelyn F. Swan in 1962 in Lutton England .They Have one daughter and one son who also live in the Coachella Valley | ||
